Following the announcements at Google Cloud Next and Google I/O '26, companies face a barrage of technical updates. How can we convert this flood into real business value? The answer lies in digesting this information strategically.

In this article series, we explore what generative AI for business means on Google Cloud today. We adopt a business perspective to move from experimentation to operations at scale:

In the first installment, we explored how to map and explore data with Knowledge Base and Agentic Data Cloud; in the second, we saw how to make the leap from curiosity to operational use with Gemini Enterprise.

Now, we’re diving into Agentic Programming: Antigravity 2.0, Sngular Gen, and Zero Human Code.

Antigravity 2.0 and Agentic Programming in Software Development

Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, recently confirmed a key statistic: Artificial Intelligence already assists 75% of new software development at Google, though always under human supervision. This milestone, combined with the launch of Antigravity 2.0, validates the strategic roadmap we have been designign and following here at Sngular.

Closely aligned with the concept of Zero Human Code (which I’ll explain later), Antigravity 2.0 changes the way software is developed: instead of programming, the user explains to the artificial intelligence what they need, and the agent is able to generate the code and execute the solution.

This methodology is known as Spec-Driven Development (SDD). Under this approach, the source code is no longer the primary asset; instead, it becomes a mere consequence of well-defined functional specifications. Therefore, software engineering starts from human decisions rather than plain implementation.

The New Role of Developers in the Agentic Programming Era

Under this new paradigm, the value that a developer brings shifts drastically. Instead of writing repetitive code, their importance lies in technical judgment and strategic orchestration capabilities:

  • Analytical judgment to distinguish which applications are actually worth building.
  • Problem understanding to accurately instruct the AI within its specific business context.
  • Ability to identify functional and core business requirements.
  • Supervision and validation of the work executed by autonomous agents.
  • Absolute mastery of intent architecture.

Sngular Gen: AI-Native EnterpriseSoftware Development Reimagined

At Sngular, we have developed our own commercial solution centered on Agentic Programming. This platform is Sngular Gen, which combines cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence with our decades of advanced engineering experience.

Sngular Gen and the Zero Human Code Vision

Zero Human Code is the core driving force behind Sngular Gen. Far from being a matter of pure technical speed, this methodology orchestrates agents to build software completely autonomously.

Therefore, the objective is to fully automate the generation and validation of systems based on clear specifications. As a result, code development ceases to be a business bottleneck and becomes a direct output of strategic analysis.

The operational lifecycle of Sngular Gen is divided into 4 sequential phases. Furthermore, each phase is strictly protected by quality gates:

  1. Inception: We distill raw client intent into functional requirements without technical ambiguity.

  2. Specs: We define the "what" through human-approved contracts that act as the absolute source of truth.

  3. Backlog: The architecture is broken down into atomic stories where Idea Generation agents compete for the best solution.

  4. Build: Specialized agents build the software, including autonomous threat detection.

In this manner, we focus client collaboration on the moments that deliver the highest strategic value: the beginning and the end of the project. However, we always maintain full visibility over the 4 phases of the technical process.

This is what we mean when we talk about Human In The Loop (HITL) versus Human On The Loop (HOTL).

In the first approach, HITL, the human is integrated into the process. Therefore, the machine requires constant human intervention to function.

In contrast, Sngular Gen operates under the Human On The Loop (HOTL) model. In HOTL, the human is overseeing the process. They do not intervene at every step, but rather review results and act only when deviations are detected. The machine operates autonomously under human supervision.

Are you ready to lead with intention?

The shared vision between Google and Sngular is clear today. Understanding the business problem is the only task that remains purely in human hands. Conversely, writing repetitive code is now a task delegated to intelligent agents.

Code is no longer the bottleneck of technology projects. The current challenge for companies is understanding what to build, how to govern it, and how to scale it using secure agents. Likewise, navigating the cultural shift toward supervised autonomy is critical.

Organizations that start this technological journey today will be the first to succeed when this development method becomes the new market standard.
