As we already announced in the article about the news from Team’25, a new collection has been born:

This is the collection created and designed especially for development teams. It is composed of AI-powered applications and designed so that development team leaders can see exactly where teams are blocked and whether or not their AI investments are driving improved results.

Want to know exactly what this collection includes and how to get the most out of it? Here we go:

Bitbucket

This is Atlassian's solution to cover the entire software development lifecycle. Its main features are:

  • Platform-level CI/CD orchestration.

  • Permissions control at the workspace, project, or repository level, and even specific permissions at the branch or environment level.

  • Enforcement of internal code quality policies and compliance requirements with standard or custom merge checks.

  • Advanced AI-based features: automatic summary generation after code changes, review of generated code, integration with any other AI used…

Bitbucket Pipelines

This is a CI/CD service integrated into Bitbucket Cloud. Its main functionalities are:

  • It allows you to automatically build, test, and even deploy code based on a configuration file in your repository.

  • Creation of containers in the cloud: to run commands (as you would on a local machine) but with all the advantages of a new, customized system configured to your needs.

  • It allows for the creation of powerful and automated CI/CD workflows with over 100 out-of-the-box integrations and the ability to customize them according to each organization's needs.

Compass

The unified catalog with dashboards to manage the ownership, standards, and governance of software components. Its main functionalities are:

  • Component catalog to keep track of the technical architecture and all the teams collaborating around it: knowing how they work, the APIs they offer, ongoing incidents, associated metrics...

  • Dependency analysis: Understand the performance impact across all teams and services.

  • Dashboards and custom team scorecards to track and maintain the health of components.

DX

One of the latest additions to the Atlassian family. Its main functionalities are:

  • Surveys and qualitative insights into the developer experience.

  • Quantitative productivity metrics like pull request cycle time, build/test failure rates, and AI usage.

  • Real-time information on developer productivity and system health.

Rovo Dev

The beta version was presented during Team'25 in Anaheim, but now it is in general availability. A set of AI-powered virtual agents that help with planning, code generation and review, and automation of repetitive tasks. Its main functionalities are:

  • Rovo Dev in CLI: AI-powered workflows directly from the terminal.

  • Rovo Dev Code Reviews: Automated code reviews and acceptance criteria in Bitbucket and GitHub.

  • Rovo Dev in Jira (coming soon): allows you to assign programming tasks and let Rovo Dev handle them from start to finish.

Most importantly, Rovo Dev understands the full context (work items, documentation, workflows...) to offer smarter suggestions and accompanies you from anywhere: your terminal, Bitbucket, GitHub...

Advantages of subscribing to the collection

A single subscription, infinite possibilities for your development team to have everything they need at their fingertips.

  • All the apps they need, working together. It facilitates collaboration between teams and reduces organizational silos.

  • By subscribing to the collection, you will have higher limits on both automation executions and AI conversations.

  • The administration of users, permissions, and configurations is simplified by being managed from a single point of access.

  • Purchasing the collection is more cost-effective than buying each of the products independently.

If you still prefer not to subscribe to the full collection but are interested in any of the apps independently, you can also purchase them.

If you need advice, you can count on us :)
