What will you do?

Subject matter expert for both front-end and back-end development. Mentor developers to ensure the code quality and standardization. Take the most complex development tasks to be developed by himself. Responsible for code quality, security and industry standards. Bridge the gap between business, design, architecture and development teams. Ensure that requirements are captured correctly in agile user stories and technical tasks. Coordinate and ensure the delivery from the technical point of view. Road-blocks removal. No matter the nature of the block. Paperwork required in order to both professionally and personally. Provide feedback and perform evaluations. Training and education of different technologies. Responsible for sizing up or down the team and coordinating the tasks within the team. Make technical decisions on task prioritization. Multiple Positions Available. Travel required 10% of time.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure that architectural and compliance requirements are met by the development team.

  • Code review and feedback sessions with the developers.

  • Lead the recruiting and onboarding of new team members.

  • Plan, release and schedule software development.


How will you do it?

Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Technology, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field plus two (2) years of software development experience. Experience must include: ● Two (2) years of experience of MVC patterns, WEB, and microservices. ● Two (2) years of experience with design patterns and notions of testing frameworks. ● Two (2) years of experience with agile methodologies; in particular with Scrum, JIRA, confluence, and clean code principles. ● Two (2) years of experience with web frameworks: Spring, Spring boot, .net mvc. ● One (1) year of experience integrating with containerized applications, cloud infrastructure, backend APIs and CI/CD pipelines (mainly Jenkins).

Where will you work?

This position is in a fixed location based in the Birmingham, AL office. However, Telecommuting allowed 2 days per week. This position will require travel within the U.S.
