Many clients reach out to us because they lack the technical talent required to address highly transformational technology projects. Outsourcing to large IT consulting or offshoring firms often provide volume and speed, but not the necessary quality or technical expertise. To provide clients with better pricing, project scalability, and turnaround times we created our Agile Connected Teams model.

Solution – An Adaptable and Flexible Approach to Remote Teams

Based on each client’s circumstances and goals, we create multidisciplinary teams of specialists (developers, designers, and other technical profiles) chosen because their specific skill sets are best suited for the task at hand and because their geographic location offers our clients greater pricing flexibility.

We are not the only technology solutions company to offer onshore, nearshore and offshore staffing solutions. We are, however, different from our competitors in that we provide adaptable sourcing models, various geographic options, Agile tools and methodologies, on-site project management, adaptable talent, reliable infrastructure, scalability and talent management.

What makes our Agile Connected Teams different?

Adaptable sourcing models

Unlike many of our competitors, we’re not a mass staffing agency whose business model is based on throwing bodies at a project.  Rather, we offer our clients various sourcing models from which to choose depending on their needs: onshore, nearshore, offshore or a combination of any of these options. We also offer clients the option to implement a BOT (Build, Operate, Transfer) sourcing model where Sngular builds and manages an outsourced unit and then transfers the entire operation to the client.

Geographic flexibility

Many clients interested in the cost savings of offshore models are concerned with the logistical difficulties posed by having teams in far flung locations.  Unlike many of our competitors, we offer a cost-efficient alternative to offshoring known as “nearshoring” – the practice of building a team in a less costly market that is, nonetheless, in geographic proximity to the client’s home base.  We regularly set up nearshore teams in Spain for our clients in Northern Europe and nearshore teams in Mexico for our clients in the US. This geographic proximity allows the clients to enjoy cost savings associated with a less costly market while avoiding the common complaints of offshoring: inconvenient time zone differences, higher travel costs, cultural differences and language barriers.

On-site management

Whereas most of our competitors’ remote teams are managed offshore, our teams are always managed by a Sngular team lead who is on-site with the client.  This Sngular team lead is in direct communication with the client and is responsible for directing the remote teams’ day-to-day operations.

Adaptable talent

Everyone claims to have “the best” talent.  What separates us is the fact that, not only are our developers “top of class,” they are assigned to a project only after a rigorous matching process that ensures that the right person is doing the right task. Beyond that, because we’re typically hired to work on what our clients describe as “core projects” -- projects that are key to our clients’ ability to adapt to their changing business environments -- our teams are comprised of developers who’ve proven that they can adapt easily to any technology stack needed to develop solutions that respond to our clients’ needs.

Reliable infrastructure

Many of our remote teams are based in Spain, which ranks #1 in Europe in the deployment of ultra-fast broadband networks. In a relatively short period, Spain’s telecom operators have laid out fiber-optic cables reaching 31 million premises – more than France, Germany, the UK and Italy combined. In the OECD, only Korea and Japan have more.


Sngular has eight regional offices throughout Spain and one in Mexico City.  This allows us to tap into a larger talent pool than competitors whose offices are located in one country or one or two cities.  Because we’re not subject to the talent shortages affecting our competitors that operate in fewer markets, we’re able to more quickly assemble highly skilled teams and often at better prices for our clients.


Whereas our competitors’ remote engineers are often nameless and faceless cogs in a revolving machine, at Sngular our clients know, and regularly interact by video with, every developer working on their projects. Not surprisingly, our turnover rate is substantially lower than the industry average.  Also, unlike many of our competitors, we commit upfront to SLAs and KPIs and provide our clients with the ability to monitor our progress toward those goals in real-time.
